Here goes Monkee’s first blog ever….

In December Monkee Genes took a trip to the clothes show. I just wanted to say what an exciting week it was for us. We are ecstatic at how well the brand was received amongst the general public.

As bus loads of students piled through the venue, groups of them were rushing up to our stand to see the new range. By the amount of traffic that went through, one would think we were giving away free chocolate.

I was personally shocked at how well the fit looks on each body type… I knew our product was awesome, but now I know it’s freakin’ amazing. Our all organic cotton, ‘Soil Associated’ jeans, are guaranteed to make everyone’s butt look out of this world.

The hottest colour flying out of our stand were the bright purple skinnies…. they were a big hit for the guys as well as the gals. A new addition to the range, which we launched at the clothes show, were the super-skinny cords in plum and black, shoppers couldn’t get enough of them. They hold a sharp new look for the coming season.

The most exciting thing about the week was the on hands experience of talking to Monkee fans, promoting our newly opened online shop (www.monkeegenes.com), and Facebook group (we love monkee genes.)

We were also trying to promote Monkee Genes for the lads, not many people realize our brand is unisex. Without a doubt every guy who tried a pair on, absolutely loved them. Suprisingly the skinny cords were a huge hit, in the plum, charcoal and black. The staff was there snapping great photos of boys in our pants, to later upload them on our Facebook group.
